During her time in Dalian, Theresa made significant contributions to the field of journalism. She anchored two English language evening news programs and wrote for expat magazines, honing her communication skills and storytelling abilities. After moving to Changzhou in 2014, she pioneered the creation of Changzhou's first bilingual magazine, showcasing her commitment to fostering cultural exchange and understanding.

Theresa's passion for education and her unwavering dedication to the community led her to establish an independent nonprofit foreign language library, providing valuable resources to language learners and enthusiasts alike. Currently, she is pursuing a second master's degree in Data, Inequality and Society at the University of Edinburgh, equipping herself with essential skills to meet the ever-evolving needs of her students.
