Mid- autumn festival is a traditonal festival for Chinese people. This year the festival falls on September 15. On September 14, AFS students in our school were invited to celebrate the festival in Weidun Park with other foreigners in Changzhou.The celebration is organized by Changzhou Municiple Propaganda Department, Changzhou Transportation Radio Station, Changzhou TV station and 5 other departments. During the festival, foreigners experienced the special customs on Mid-Autumn Day, the traditional Chinese culture and the happy lifestyle in Changzhou. They made mooncakes with their own hands and traditional lanterns under the guidance of experts.

The foreigners present come from the USA, Italy, Germany , France etc. They either study or work in Changzhou. The whole activity lasted two hours from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Evening came and lights on. The activity came to an end with every foreign guests holding their DIY mooncakes and lanterns. Happy Mid-autumn day!
