记美国总统奖获奖学生代表团城市规划馆之行

6月30日下午，在丰盛的午餐之后，我们驱车来到Trina Solar（天合光能）。这是一家年轻的企业，同时却又是发展迅猛的企业、一家专门从事晶体硅太阳能组件生产的制造商。成立于1997年，2006年便在美国纽交所上市，天合光能的发展速度可见一斑，并且最近几年，在有关太阳能的企业排名它逐步升至第一位。听着工作人员的介绍，我们逐渐对太阳能有了更进一步的了解，同时也对天合光能这个公司有了全新的认识。美国总统奖的交流学生对于此也有着浓厚的兴趣——不停地用相机记录下了太阳能的有关知识。从参观中我们了解到太阳能作为一种清洁能源在现在乃至将来所能起到的巨大作用，同时也改变了对于这种相对较昂贵的能源的看法。之后的会谈，则是天合光能高层领导与与美国学生交流观点的平台。我们尽努力去理解他们的话语，从中也得到了一定听力上的训练。最后，总统奖获奖学生与环保公益社团“棵林”（co-link）社”代表就环保问题进行了交流。

With the development of the economic, the environment problems have being exposed gradually. As is well known, the carbon dioxide will cause ozonosphere hole. It will cause great damage to our health.
Recently, more and more countries pay attention to it. A lot of companies attempt to invent some new technique to alleviate the problem. And Trina solar is one of the companies.
It is an international company which has a great many branches all over the world. It has devoted significant efforts aimed at reducing the waste and pollution caused by our manufacturing processes. You know, if we continue to rely on fossil fuels and emit ever-greater amounts of greenhouse gases, the damage to our environment and ourselves may become irreversible.
We visited the factory and knew that how a product to be examined. It is such an amazing thing to see a board which can absorb solar energy be struck again and again. It will make sure that the board is hard enough to use.
Then, the manager delivered a speech about their company and the great influence they have ever made. We communicated with others about‘low carbon and future cities’. We showed our opinions during the interaction. I have to say, we benefited a lot from the conversation.
The tour was pleasant and fantastic. We enjoyed our tour, so did our foreign friends, I think.
